I had the privilege of attending several Pow Wows in Canada. A Pow Wows is an event for Indigenous North American people to meet and dance, sing, socialize and honor their cultures. Dancers of all ages show their cultural pride and their ability to interpret ancestral dances.
The energy generated by male dancers is extraordinary, various animals such as the wolf, bear, fox, bison, etc. are represented in the dance. The skins of these animals are incorporated into their costumes and the spirit of these animals is said to be transmitted to the dancers, establishing a mystical connection with nature and the animal kingdom that is reflected in their movements.
